Failure Mode 1: Attacking Igris During Immunity Shield
The most common mistake raid squads make is burning ultimates on Igris while his damage barrier is active:
- What the Failure Is: Attacking Igris directly while dealing exactly 0 damage, resulting in wasted ultimate cooldowns and squad wipes.
- How to Recognise It: A red aura envelops Igris, and red-named mini boss commanders spawn around the arena perimeter. All incoming damage numbers display as zero.
- How to Recover: Immediately stop hitting Igris. Turn around, ping the mini bosses, and group them with dash skills.
- How to Avoid It: Watch for Igris summon animation. The moment mini bosses appear, switch 100% of your squad DPS onto the mini bosses until they are defeated. Breaking them immediately removes Igris immunity shield.
Failure Mode 2: Chasing Shadow Clones
During phase 2, Igris summons phantom shadow clones across the battlefield:
- What the Failure Is: Squad members scatter across the arena attacking shadow clones while the real boss charges arena-wide cleaves.
- How to Recognise It: Multiple identical Igris figures appear with lower health bars.
- How to Recover: Ignore the clones entirely. Re-center your camera on the main boss (marked with the raid commander icon).
- How to Avoid It: Clones do NOT grant immunity shields to Igris. Keep running to evade their ground telegraphs, but maintain all single-target DPS locked on the true boss.
