Rolls and Lucky Spins Are Not the Same Currency
The Arsenal takes two currencies. Both look like a spin and both are spent in the same menu, which is why spending the wrong one is the most expensive mistake on this ladder.
| Currency | What it fills | Headline target on the published ladders |
|---|---|---|
| Rolls (regular spins) | The lower slots: Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Arcane | Dragon Eclipse and Lights of Divinity at Mythic; Cursed King and Divine Emperor at Arcane |
| Lucky Spins | The Lyth counter at the top of the ladder | Cataclysm — Miyabi |
Which currency feeds which counter is the one part of the ladder the sources still argue about. Two October ladders treat the Lyth counter as Lucky Spin only; one player wiki says every regular Roll has counted toward Mythic, Arcane and Lyth since an October 2 change. You can settle it on your own account in one attempt: note the Lyth counter, spend a single Roll, and read the counter again. If it moved, Rolls feed both tiers. If it did not, keep the Rolls for the lower slots and bank the Lucky Spins.
One rate is worth knowing before you gamble instead of planning. A third-party page quoting Beebom lists Cataclysm at 0.005% on a regular Roll and 0.01% on a Lucky Spin, roughly one in 20,000 and one in 10,000. Every player report read for this page reached her through the counter rather than through the rate: one commenter describes spending 3,000 Lucky Spins without a hit and being told 500 more would finish it.
The Pity Ladder and Why the Numbers Differ
No page read for this article read three counters off a live panel, and the published ladders split on the two expensive tiers. Both figures are kept below rather than averaged.
| Tier | Counter used on the weapon table | Other published ladders |
|---|---|---|
| Mythic | 175 | 175 on every ladder read, so this row is settled |
| Arcane | 350 | 250 on two independent October ladders, recorded as a 9–10 October balance change from 350 |
| Lyth (Zenless) | 3,500 | 2,750 on one player wiki; about 3,000 on two other pages |
The practical answer is the same for both Lyth readings: fund toward 3,500, expect the counter to pay between 2,750 and 3,500, and stop the moment it does. The Arcane difference is larger than the Lyth one and has a stated cause, so read the counter on the tier you are actually chasing instead of trusting either row. If your client prints a different number from the one above, the client is the newer reading — these pages quote notes that moved twice in October, not a changelog.
How to Get Miyabi, Step by Step
Miyabi is not a drop you can speed up with luck. The counter is the route, so these five steps are about confirming the name, funding the right currency and stopping at the number.
- Confirm the name. Miyabi is the character alias on the Cataclysm row of the weapon database, the Zenless/Lyth-tier Arsenal weapon. A search for the name also returns Zenless Zone Zero, which is a different game and a different character.
- Open the Arsenal and find her counter. The Lyth counter is separate from the Mythic and Arcane counters, so being one pull from a Mythic does not shorten this one.
- Fund the right currency before you start. Lucky Spins are the tracked currency for this tier. The free routes below are worth more per hour than a Gems conversion at the counter.
- Spend in one session, not in dribs. The counter is the plan and the 0.005% rate is not, so a half-funded attempt buys nothing you cannot get by waiting.
- Stop the moment the counter pays. Anything you keep spending after the guarantee lands is spent on the rate again.
Warning: Read the counter in your own Arsenal before converting Gems into spins. The published range for this tier spans 750 spins, which is a real amount of currency to over-buy, and the counter is the only reading that belongs to your account.
Where Lucky Spins Come From
Four routes are published, and their cost differs by an order of magnitude, so take the free ones first.
- Codes. The tracked code list pays Lucky Spins in batches, from 11 per code up to 500 on the largest reward, which makes a new code worth more than a long session of farming.
- Quests and achievements. Both are listed as spin sources by the published guides, and both finish while you play normally.
- Story and raids. Runs pay spins on top of their own drops, so a raid session is also a spin session.
- Gems. The weapon UI takes Gems for Lucky Spins. This is the route that costs real money, and it is the one to use last.
One more route is worth knowing but not planning around: a player wiki records the AFK chamber paying one Lucky Spin every 15 minutes at the October 2 rate. That rate is single-sourced and can be retuned without notice, so treat the chamber as a background trickle rather than a funding plan.
After the Pull: What Miyabi Changes
The pull is the cheap half. A Lyth weapon pays off only once you give it the partner and the awakening its kit assumes.
- The partner. Cataclysm plus Lights of Divinity (Saber) is one of the six named pairs and pays +8% speed and −5% cooldowns. It is the only named pair she completes, and the second weapon slot costs 25,000 Coins. The synergy page lists the other five pairs and the flat fallback for any unnamed combination.
- The awakening. Her recipe asks for 60 Fine Cloth, 30 Mana Feather, 10 Waves Core, 12 Soul Fragment and 4 Magic Pendant, plus 3,000 Gems, published line for line by two editors that agree. No Coin price is published. The evolution guide carries the full list with where each ingredient drops.
- The build. Her kit carries the attack speed and the invulnerability dash frames, so the traits and accessories that pay are the ones a fast attacker can use. The max damage loadout fills those slots and checks the 60% Crit and 40% CDR caps that stop a fourth crit piece from adding anything.
Zenless Is Two Different Things
The word appears on two rows of the weapon database and means something different in each, which is how guides end up quoting the wrong counter.
| Use of the word | What it is | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Zenless (rarity) | The top rung of the Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Arcane → Zenless chain | Cataclysm's rarity column |
| Zenless Banner | The Update 2 banner pool that runs Mochi Commander | Mochi Commander's acquisition column |
So “Zenless pity” can mean the top-tier counter or the older banner pool, and the two numbers are nowhere near each other. Ask which tier a guide is quoting before you budget for it. Miyabi sits on the rarity, not on the banner.
